Clitheroe New Years Eve Bagpiper

Hi all,

A client wants to know how much it would cost for bagpiper hire on 31st December 2009 in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

Client Specifics:

The client would like a scottish piper to play at BB74TP, Clitheroe, Lancashire. She would like the bagpiper to play for approximately 30 minutes from midnight till around 12:30am.

Dress: Full No.1 Dress (Feather Bonnet & Plaid etc), No.2 Dress and alternatives when required.  Tartan worn is Drummond of Perth.

Experience: 30 years playing the pipes competitively in Scotland.  Played for Ardneil, Johnstone, Irvine, Clydebank & Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Bands over the years, competing at all major competitions in this time, the pinnacle being 1st place at Cowal Games with Johnstone Pipe Band in 2000.  I no longer compete and concentrate solely on private engagements.  My piping has taken me to Germany, Spain & France to play and I’ve been fortunate to take part at the Interceltique Festival in L’Orient, Frnace where Pipe Bands go by invite only from the Festival organisers.

Location (Region Covered): Yorkshire and the Humber, North East.

Dress: Argyle Day Jacket, Prince Charlie Evening Jacket, Full Military Style No.1 with Royal Stewart Tartan.

Experience: I have been played the Great Highland Bagpipes for more than 30 years, starting as a piper in the Royal Air Force, where I played all over the world, including Edinburgh Castle.  I now continue as a civilian piper in Pipe Bands in the area where I live.  This is currently North Yorkshire.
