Experience: Over twenty five years experience playing in Pipe bands and solo at weddings, funerals, Parties, corporate and special events. I have performed on national radio and TV several times with my latest performance being on the Ant and Dec Saturday night takeaway show. Venues that I have played at include The Royal Festival Hall in London, The NEC Birmingham, Glasgow University, The Birmingham Synphony hall, Harrods and Althrop House. Previous clients include ITV1, GMTV, Sky TV, The Royal Bank of Scotland, The Rotary club, Earl Spencer and Harrods. I have also recorded with various bands and Artists ranging from traditional folk to Pop music.

Dress: Full Highland Uniform (including feather bonnet), No. 1 Highland Uniform (with Glengarry), Day Dress, a Tartan Dress if playing small pipes for background music.

Experience: I have been playing bagpipes for nearly 20 years and I now play with the University of Bedfordshire Pipe Band, England’s top pipe band. I play at many functions throughout the year including Hogmanay, Burns Suppers, St. Patrick’s Day, weddings, parties, funerals, coroporate events and I also teach the pipes. I am experienced in playing for highland and country dancing and could organise dancers to complement your event.

Particular career highlights include:

  • A decade of The Scottish Tattoo, including solo performances in major UK concert venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
  • Hogmanay celebrations in Birmingham’s Centenary Square in front of 50,000 people
  • Broadcasting on local radio for the Millennium celebrations in Salisbury
