A client wants a quote for a Wedding Piper on 20th June 2009 in London.

Client Specifics:

The client is getting married in Charlton House and needs a piper to pipe her out of the ceremony and also to pose for a few photographs.  The wedding will be taking place in the same venue as the reception so would only need the piper for about an hour from 2pm onwards.

Experience: Started playing the bagpipes in 1986 and enlisted into the army and joined the 1st Battalion The Highlanders (Seaforth, Gordons & Camerons) Pipes and Drums.  I have travelled all over with the Pipes and Drums, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Pakistan and Canada to name a few.  Performed at many high profile events including the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and at Buckingham Palace for Her Majesty the Queen and her guests at State Banquets.  Competed in many solo competitions, and all major Pipe Band Competitions.  After leaving The Highlanders, I became Pipe Major of the Lewis Pipe Band.  Represented the Western Isles during a visit to Sweden to promote tourism.  Piped for HM the Queen during her visit to the Isle of Lewis on her Golden Jubilee tour of the United Kingdom.  Joined Strathclyde Fire & Rescue Pipe Band travelling round the UK and abroad.
