Experience: Started piping in 1984, was Pipe Major with Stonehaven Pipe Band from 1993 through to 1999 and promoted them through 2 grades.  Currently play with Grampian Police Pipe Band since 1999 and I am a self employed tutor of bagpipes both privately at Aberdeenshire Schools and at Aberdeen University.  I have played at many presitigious events including in front of the Queen & Prince Phillip.  I have entertained Rod Stewart & Frank Bruno on the pipes and have been professionally piping since 1999 at weddings and various events.  I also play the Scottish Small Pipes, the Canadian Shuttle Pipes and the Bellow Small Pipes all of which are suitable for playing indoors for those softer moments like providing soft celtic music during the signing of the register.
