Hi all,
A client wants a quote for a Wedding Piper on 15th May 2010 in Poland.
Client Specifics:
The client is looking for a wedding piper to play in the South of Poland for an Irish-Polish wedding.
Please respond by leaving a comment on this post if you can take the job on and with a price so I can liaise with the client. If you have a different pricing structure dependant on the duties you perform then please include any additional information you think would be helpful.
Thanks all!

This is a difficult job to price this early on as far as flights are concerned, also there is an Irish side to it that may mean only Irish pipers would be considered as has been mentioned by a past client.
I will set the ball rolling however and give you an approximate cost. £150 per day, this includes travel days and I expect this to be 3 days in total. Flights times are not available yet but going by next weeks prices which tend to be more expensive due to the short availability I would say £160 to Krakow. Transfer to and from airport can be arranged by client as can accommodation.

Hi Bryce,
I’m certainly hoping they aren’t expecting a half-irish, half-polish piper as it would be slim pickings!
The information above is all I received but I’d imagine some Irish tunes would be appreciated though. I will enquire.
Just to confirm…£150 + £150 + £150 + £160 (approx.) so £610 and airport transport/accommodation to be arranged by the client?

Hello Jamie, I’m playing for a wedding in Poland this August and the way I quoted this was £30 UK airport transfers, £50 subsistance per day for each day other than the wedding day. £180 for the wedding day in full No1 dress uniform.
The client is then responsible for return flight arrangements, airport transfers in Poland and accomodation for the full term in Poland.
I hope this helps the client to make an early decision.

Hi
As Bryce has mentioned not easy to calculate the costs, as you well know the prices for next year may go up.
I live in Cyprus and I also have a Repertoire of Irish and Scottish tunes
I would also be available

Hi Jamie,
I can see Ireland on a clear day and I have a polish man living close to me if it helps.
Thats correct, but flight times have to fit into that 3 day schedule if not then another £150 applies. Also ticket fares have to be confirmed when new timetables are announced, so it may even work out cheaper.

How much would you charge Tom as ideally I’d imagine the client would want someone local?
Thanks all for the quotes!
